High Tides

A rare natural spectacle

During high tides, a few days a year, Mont-Saint-Michel becomes an island again for one to two hours, offering a striking natural spectacle.

Nearby, along the Sélune, you can also observe the mascaret, this wave going up the river, a symbolic phenomenon of the bay.
